A little about my book,…

Marc Anthony Castelle has lost his humanity. He lost it three years ago, when Kathryn, the love of his young life was hurried into an idling ambulance. Now at age nineteen, he cares for little more than his job and his studies. He is majoring in accounting and something has gone wrong with his term project. He can't balance by twenty-four cents. He'll stay up until dawn if he has to,… the project is due tomorrow, and his 4.0 average is at stake.

But Ghaliya comes to his door at one in the morning, pleading for his help. Ghaliya and Raja, her little albino daughter, are the town freaks. Some say she's a witch, others say she's an addict. Everyone says she's crazy. She bought the old Zondervan house two years ago,… the place where Kathryn used to stay. Now she tells Marc that the house is haunted by a spirit named Katrina. And she needs his help.

Marc would just as soon be rid of her, but there's something about that house. There's something, too, about the odd similarity of the names Kathryn and Katrina. Besides, he owes Ghaliya a debt: a debt he wants no one to find out about.
